PROGRAMS

To carry out KAPN’s mission, the organization plans and executes several programs geared enhancing the member experience, developing current and future leaders, and ultimately building a strong network of professionals in Dallas. Once each quarter, KAPN offers networking happy hours, Professional Speaker Series panel events, and other various professional and social events.

KAPN also engages in several key mentorship initiatives throughout the year to cultivate tomorrow’s leaders. Enhancing a program run early in our history, KAPN has executed a 6-month College Mentorship Program that follows the college academic calendar in order to equip students with tangible and intangible tools and skills that will start them on a meaningful career path immediately upon graduation. KAPN also continues to inspire and motivate the community’s youth year in and year out with the Youth Empowerment Seminar (YES), a one-day interactive workshop for high school students. Lastly, since 2019, KAPN has developed a 3-month student internship program that allows graduating high school seniors and early college students to gain invaluable project management, team building, and professional communications experience that will make them an asset to any company as soon as they enter the workforce.

Last, but certainly, not least, KAPN continues to find critical opportunities to give back to the community and serve others. Whether it is supporting the homeless or hungry, teaching math and English to underprivileged kids, or honoring our veterans, medical heroes, and first responders, KAPN strives to instill a foundation of meaningful service in the community to our professional and student members.
